CASA-NYC Mission Video

As CASA-NYC (Court Appointed Special Advocates of New York City) approached its 40th Anniversary celebration, the organization’s leadership expressed to us how challenging it has been over the year to explain their mission and work to the general public. Working closely with CASA leadership, we conducted more than two-dozen interviews, out which we crafted this 6 1/2 minute video. The video premiered at CASA’s anniversary gala in April 2019 — moving the audience to tears and helping the event break previous fundraising records. Staff and board members later told us that this video was a “game changer” — solving once and for all the problem of explaining to others what CASA does to help children navigating through New York City’s foster care system.
